Thin Elk Grove City Council Meeting Includes Discussion on Obesity, Diversity

While next Wednesday night's Elk Grove Meeting agenda will be relatively thin, the city council among other things consider a resolution setting forth Elk Grove's commitment to fight obesity prevention.

In addition to considering the obesity resolution, the council will also consider implementation of a supplemental park fee for the Laguna Ridge specific plan area, reallocation of community development block grant funds, consider forming a multicultural committee and consider establishment the best in Elk Grove business award program.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m, Wednesday, September 14.
