Four men staged an early morning armed home invasion robbery in Elk Grove this weekend.

According to Elk Grove Police reports,three unknown suspects armed with shotguns entered a residence on the 9000 block of Brown Road early Saturday morning and confronted two of the occupants. The three gunmen proceeded to remove property from the residence.

As the suspects were leaving, two additional residents who had just arrived and were parked in front of the house were confronted by the three armed suspects. The suspects ordered the occupants to get out of the vehicle they were sitting in.

Both occupants in the vehicle complied and one of the suspects drove away in the vehicle, which was described as a white Honda. The other two suspects ran down the street to a getaway vehicle that was being driven by a fourth person.

The white Honda the suspect had driven away in was recovered a short time later at Stockton Blvd. and Lyndale Dr. unoccupied after being involved in a collision.

The suspects were described as being African-American males between 19 and 22 years of age. The first suspect is described as being 5`5" tall, 140 pounds and was wearing a grey pea coat and a black baseball hat. The second suspect is described as being 5`7", 150 pounds with dreads down to his shoulders. He had on a white t-shirt and black jeans. Suspect three is described as being 5`9", 160 pounds with shoulder length dreads and was wearing dark clothing. All three suspects had the lower portion of their faces covered with a bandana.
