Davis Racks Another Endorsement in Mayoral Bid

If accumulating endorsements is any indication of a candidates electability, Elk Grove Mayoral candidate and current council member Gary Davis candidacy is going strong

With no declared candidates opposing him in his run to become Elk Grove's first popularly elected mayor, Davis recently announced another key endorsement. The most recent endorsement comes from Carpenters Local Union No. 46.

This nod follows seven endorsements from a variety of labor and businesses interests. While endorsements alone don't guarantee electoral victory, they do provide that one crucial ingredient every pol needs - money.

So with less than 340 days until next years mayoral election, Davis is not only racking up endorsements, he is quickly tapping the pool of available money. The longer any potential candidate waits to enter the race, their ability to raise the money need to a viable campaign becomes more difficult.
