Elk Grove Teen Tosses Food at Dad, Gets Arrested

For teens mad at their parents, take heed - tossing food at your parents could land you in juvie.


That is what happened last night when an Elk Grove teen and his father were involved into a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. During their altercation, the 15-year-old male allegedly tossed a bowl of food at his 41-year-old father and for good measure, punched him in the head.

After calling for police assistance, the father signed a citizens warrant against his son who was taken into into custody and transferred to juvenile hall.
