Cosumnes Firefighters Assoc Donate Socks to Elk Grove Food Bank

On Thursday Andy Shepard from Cosumnes Firefighters Association delivered a truck-load of socks to Elk Grove Food Bank Services. The Second Annual Socks for the Homeless Drive collected nearly 700 pairs of socks.

Executive Director Marie Jachino, Clothes Closet Manager Susan Carmona and Board Member Tressa Bader were on hand to receive delivery of the socks.

“The socks will make a difference in our clients’ quality of life,” Jachino said. “We thank the communities of Elk Grove and Galt for their generosity.
