At approximately 1:30 a.m. today, Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Riley Road and Dillard Road in Wilton regarding a call of a person found lying on the roadway.
Upon arriving at the location, deputies found a male adult victim who was deceased. He had sustained trauma to his head and upper body.
The victim was a light-skinned male, but his exact race and age are unknown at this time. The nature of the victim’s injuries and cause of death are still being investigated. Detectives and crime scene investigators have been processing the scene for evidence, and have no suspect(s) or motive in this case.
