After what appears to be an almost 10 hour service failure, Frontier has managed to get the gerbils back in the cage and they have restored Internet service to Elk Grove and other affected areas. Thank goodness today was not a regular business day and there were other things to do besides conduct business in front of the computer.
Ironically, earlier today there was a story posted on Yahoo about eight businesses the Facebook generation will not buy - one of which was landlines.
Seeing as how Frontier is a landline-based Internet provider and after today's colossal service failure, we agree that their days are numbered. Any business in Elk Grove that would have be relying on doing business across Frontier's network today would have been screwed.
Way to go - keep this up Frontier and your days will slip away even faster.

Green Acres is the place to be!
So grateful that we have Surewest. Our neighborhood was the first to get it and we signed up immediately. Been very happy with them!
To bad Surewest doesn't serve the whole city because I would drop Frontier like a bad habit!
