2012 Elk Grove Western Festival Parade Street Closures

The annual Elk Grove Western Festival is coming to town this weekend, offering two days of fun for the entire family on May 5 and May 6. And of course don't forget Friday night's traditional Western Festival Suicide Night.

On Saturday, May 5, a parade – which begins in Old Town and makes its way to Elk Grove Regional Park – will feature everything from classic cars and bands, to floats and horses.

The following street closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 5: · Elk Grove Blvd. from Waterman Rd. to Emerald Oak Dr. · Both directions of Elk Grove Florin Rd. at Elk Grove Blvd. · Elk Grove Blvd. at Emerald Oak Dr. · Emerald Oak Dr. to Valley Oak Dr. · Valley Oak Dr. from Elk Grove Florin Rd. to Emerald Oak Dr. Signage will be placed in advance to notify drivers about the closures.
