Aside from responding to yesterday's widely reported stabbing of an Elk Grove man, Elk Grove Police made collars for drunk driving, disturbances and domestic violence.

According to police department reports, 27-year-old Priyasheel Vandhana of Elk Grove was arrested near Bruceville Road and Laguna Blvd. early Thursday morning on suspicion of drunk driving.

Officers responding to a disturbance call on the 8500 block of Elk Grove-Florin contacted 26-year old Mark Grosvenor and was found to be on probation. A probation search of Grosvenor led to the discovery of narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested then issued a misdemeanor citation and released.

In another disturbance call yesterday morning on the 5300 block of Blue Sapphire Court, officers arrested 34-year-old Richard Main who was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. before being arrested and taken to the county jail, the suspect was alos found to be n possession of a collapsible baton.

Also arrested in a domestic violence incident was 45-year-old Dewaine Phillips of Elk Grove. The suspect allegedly grabbed his victim by the neck and shook her.
