EGPD Seeks Help Locating At-Risk Person

The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating 29-year-old Sylvia Valdez. Ms. Valdez is considered at risk due to the fact that she has been diagnosed as schizophrenic and is not in possession of her medication.

Ms. Valdez was last seen in Nevada City, California in early June. Valdez had telephoned her mother and indicated that she going to be returning to her Elk Grove residence (8200 block of Geneva Point Dr.) by way of an unknown bus service. As of today, Sylvia Valdez has not returned to her residence.

Sylvia Valdez is described as a Hispanic female adult, 5’6”, 180 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. At this time, there is no information available regarding the clothing Valdez was wearing.
