Three people suspected of shoplifting from an Elk Grove cosmetics store are getting a new makeover at the county jail after their arrest early Friday evening.

According to Elk Grove Police, officers responded to a theft by two Caucasian women that had taken place at the Ulta cosmetics store on W. Stockton Blvd. who were seen leaving the area in a gray Saturn sedan. Prior to the report and broadcast of the theft, officers had already stopped the same vehicle that matched the description of a stolen car.

Once the officers learned the vehicle was the same on suspected in the Ulta robbery, the three occupants of the vehicle were detained. Officers learned that 49-year old Kimberly leach and 25-year old Christopher Zamudio were both found to be on probation.

A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of the stolen merchandise as well as stolen goods from TJ Maxx and Old Navy. The two probationers and 36-year old Jennifer Carroll were arrested and taken to the county jail wear they were fitted with orange suits.
