An Elk Grove man was arrested yesterday morning following a domestic violence incident that included visible injuries to the victim. 


According to Elk Grove Police, 20-year-old Teris Vinson allegedly grabbed his victim by the neck and threw onto a bed. The suspect would not let the victim leave the room and then allegedly punched and slapped his victim in the face.

The suspect would also not let the victim call the police. The victim was issued an emergency protective order. 

Vinson is being held on four charges at the county jail with a bail of $80,000. The charges include domestic violence, false imprisonment, corporal punishment and destroying a wireless device to prevent summons for assistance.
