An Elk Grove man who was on an evening jog was attacked by two suspects last night on the city's west side.
According to Elk Grove Police reports, the 30-year old male victim was jogging near Franklin Blvd and Lake Pleasant Drive when he was approached by 26-year old Christopher Smith of Sacramento and a 17-year old Elk Grove male. As the victim jogged past the suspects, the juvenile yelled at the victim and Smith threw a bottle at his face which resulted in a visible injury.
The victim called EGPD and responding officers located both suspects nearby. After being positively identified, the juvenile was arrested and and taken to juvenile hall. Smith displayed objective signs of impairment and was arrested for public intoxication then transported to the main jail.

Great, guy gets drunk and attacks jogger. What was this 26 year old doing with a juvenile? Who exactly is the juvenile here?
