Two women were robbed at gunpoint as they sat on bench last night in an Elk Grove park.
According to Elk Grove Police, the two 21-year old women were seated on a bench on the 3100 block of East Laguna Court near Laguna Town Hall when they were approached by an unknown male who pointed a handgun and demanded their property. Fearing for their safety, the victims complied with the suspect’s demands.
The suspect fled on foot and the victims were not injured. The suspect was described as a black male adult, early 20`s, 5-9 to 5-10, 130 lbs, skinny build, wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, ski mask, blue jeans, black tennis shoes and was armed with a handgun.
Officers responded but were unable to locate the suspect.

I guess city hall and town hall have an important difference that I missed.
Peter Calthorpe and Phil Angelides hoped in another time that Laguna would be the center of Elk Grove.
