A Sacramento man who is on post release community supervision (PRCS) was arrested yesterday afternoon after he tried to scam the Elk Grove Wal Mart.

According to Elk Grove Police, 37-year old Jamil Harris was detained by police officers after he allegedly attempted to have a $100 credit added to a recently purchased gift card by using a photo copy of a different card. After discovering the suspect was on PRCS, officer searched Harris's vehicle where they found ammunition, a fake California identification card, two credit card reading devices, a laptop and several gifts cards belonging to Harris and other individuals.

Harris was arrested and taken to the county jail were he remains in custody ineligible for bail.
