Coming off a strong performance at Monday night's Candidates' Night Forum, Elk Grove Mayoral candidate Lynn Wheat is conducting another community outreach meeting tonight.
Tonight's meeting will be held at the Starbucks located at 8868 Bond Road (corner of Elk Grove Florin Road). The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Wheat, who has decided against accepting political contributions and has limited her personal spending to less than $1,000, has conducted a number of meetings in her grassroots run for mayor.

Well Mr. Gougherty, it appears you are a biased reporter and are supporting Lynn Wheat.
So please don't pass yourself off as an ethical reporter and/or journalist as ethical journalists must stay neutral. As noted by the Journalists Ethics Code, “Bias in commentary is a violation of the principles of journalistic ethics.”

If it is true, then there is no bias. Ms. Wheat did have a strong showing in many peoples' mind. I think you've been drinking from the Davis trough for too long. I was at the meeting with four friends and each of us thought Ms Wheat did a great job...she has new ideas and is not a career politican. I rather liked her ideas. So, yes, she did have a strong showing. But to each his own, I suppose.
It is rich that the three or four people who post on this site think they know it all. By the way, civilized people don’t drink from a trough, but your comments are atypical of what we have read of Wheat’s supporters who are very keen on insulting others on this Blog.
But keep thinking you know it all. However, you are very wrong here mentioning Gary Davis, as we are supporting Sophia Scherman.
