Allyson Huber appointed to Sacramento County Superior Court.
Former Assembly Member Allyson Huber has been appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown to the Sacramento County Superior Court.

Huber, who represented Elk Grove as Assembly Member for the states 10th Assembly for two terms starting in 2008 fills a new position created by the conversion of a commissioner position.

Prior to serving in the assembly, Huber was an associate at Bartko Zankel Tarrant and Miller from 2003 to 2008 and an associate at Oppenheimer Wolff and Donnelly LLP from 2000 to 2003.

The compensation for this position is $178,789.

Party loyalty is crucial to keeping the machine operating and it can offer rewards.

Regardless of one's party preference, it's clear that party operatives just keep rearranging the public sector deck chairs so the loyal soldiers don't have to face the competitive market of the private sector to keep those paychecks flowing--In the private sector, leaders are real and not just a sound-bite or photo-op. By the way, what's the status of the fiscal cliff? Enough said!
