Elk Grove GRASP to Hold Community Forum Wednesday Night

Elk Grove Grasp, a grassroots citizen’s group will hold a community forum Wednesday night to discuss the City of Elk Grove's pending Sphere of Influence (SOI) application.

If approved, the application will allow for the ultimate expansion of the city boundaries by nearly 8,000 acres. The forum topics for Wednesday's meeing will include:

• What is an SOI? 
• Is Elk Grove doing “smart” planning? 
• Traffic and transportation; are there issues? 
• Do we really need more homes and shopping centers? 

The guest speaker will be Dr. Alex Kelter MD
