Elk Grove Business Owner Attacked, Hospitalized by Former Employee

An Elk Grove business owner was attacked and injured yesterday morning by a former employee.

According to Elk Grove Police, 31-year old Paris Moore of Sacramento came to a business located on Elk Grove Blvd. and engaged in a verbal argument with the 45-year old male business owner that escalated into a physical confrontation. According to a name search, the business is identified as D-Vision Cuts and Styles.

During the altercation, the victim was struck in the face and head several times causing the victim to lose consciousness and also sustained a laceration to the face that required medical attention. The victim was transported by private vehicle to a local area hospital for medical treatment.

Officers were able to locate the suspect at another nearby location. Moore was arrested and taken to the county jail where he remains in custody on battery charges.
