Taking a page from the letter carriers pledge, Elk Grove's monthly SactoMoFo Food Truck event will go on tomorrow in spite of the oppressive heat wave thanks to some industrial size misters.
Tomorrow's event, which will be held in Old Town Elk Grove from 5 to 9 pm and will feature 14 vendors offering everything from burgers to tacos.
In response to the current heat wave, organizers will utilize four industrial sized misters to keep patrons cool along with more tables and chairs while they enjoy their food and listen to live music from This Hiatus.
Also on had at the site will be the Elk Grove Food Bank Services. Participants are encouraged to make a financial or non-perishable food donation.
