A food truck event benefiting Elk Grove High School's Thundering Herd football team will be held tonight in Elk Grove.
The event will be held at the parking lot of the Cosumnes Community Services District administration building at 8820 Elk Grove Blvd. Along with food from seven trucks from the Sacramento Foodmob, there will be music and a Halloween costume contest.
The event will be held between 5 and 8 p.m. with 10 percent of the sales from each of the food trucks going to the Thundering Herd football program.
