A customer at an Elk Grove McDonald's was assaulted and robbed and it wasn't the Hamburglar who perpetrated the crime.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 19-year old male victim was at the McDonald's on Bruceville Road when he was approached by an unknown male suspect who punched him several times in the head and grabbed his cell phone. The suspect fled the store on foot with another person.
The victim sustained visible injuries. The suspect was described as a black male, 5'8", 160 lbs., wearing a black sweater and blue pants.
