An Elk Grove man was arrested yesterday afternoon after he allegedly threw a passenger out of his car.

According to Elk Grove Police, 39-year old Jayme Lee Williams was driving his car near Bond and Bradshaw roads and was involved in a verbal argument with the passenger. William reportedly stopped the car and tried to push the victim out of the car.

Williams then exited the car, grabbed and threw the victim to the ground resulting in a visible injury and then fled the area. Responding officers located the suspect who was arrested and taken to the county jail where he remains in custody on $50,000 bail.
