A homeless man suspected of exposing himself to passing vehicles was arrested yesterday afternoon by Elk Grove Police.

According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to the 8700 block of Waterman Road after receiving several calls of a man indecently exposing himself to passing vehicles. When an officer contacted 38-year old Jose Corona and attempted to detain him, the suspect reportedly hit the officer in the chest in an attempt to escape.

The officer took Corona to the ground where he continued to resist arrest. The suspect was eventually arrested then taken to the county jail where he was released earlier today.
