Manuel Martin Personally Issues Challenge to Assembly Rival Candidate Jim Cooper

During last Wednesday's Elk Grove City Council meeting, California Ninth Assembly District Republican candidate Manuel Martin personally challenged Democratic Elk Grove Vice Mayor Jim Cooper to participate in candidate forum.

According to Martin, Cooper and another Democratic Ninth District candidate,  Darrel Fong, have not replied to invitations to participate in a Tea Party sponsored forum on Monday, January 27 in Lodi, Calif.

The forum will be held tomorrow night at  6:30 p.m. at United Congregational Christian Church, 701 S Hutchins Street,  Lodi.
