Elk Grove Man Walks in on Intruders, Gets Pistol Whipped

An Elk Grove man was assaulted after he arrived at his residence last night to find three intruders.

According to Elk Grove Police, the 25-year old victim arrived at his residence on the 9900 block of Macabee Lane and was confronted by three unknown suspects. The victim said he fought with one of the suspects and was hit in the head with a handgun.

The victim was reportedly overpowered by the suspects and held at gunpoint. While the suspects demanded money from the victim, another person inside the residence was able to flee and called EGPD from another location. 

When officers arrived, the suspects had already fled the scene. Officers conducted a search for the suspects but were unable to locate them. 

The suspects were described as being black male adults in their 20's wearing dark clothing.
