A traffic stop early Thursday morning led to the arrest of a Sacramento man who was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun.

According to Elk Grove Police, 18-year old Dominiec Fuse was reportedly operating a car on the 8800 block of Sheldon Road that was stopped for vehicle code violation. Upon contact, the officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car and observed some of the substance on the floor.

Fuse was detained and a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded handgun. A records check revealed that the handgun was not registered to the suspect and that it was stolen.

Fuse was arrested and taken to the county jail.

What a doofus.

Don't have a gun in your car if you are going to be out driving and toking! Might as well put a sign on your car saying "Come Arrest Me".

Elk Grove is so amateur hour. That fool wouldn't last a day in Oakland.
