Healthcare Enrollment Gets Final Push in Elk Grove This Weekend

With the March 31 Affordable Care Act enrollment deadline looming, residents will be given an opportunity to sign-up for health care coverage this Saturday in Elk Grove. The enrollment event is being sponsored by the Elk Grove Education Association and California Assembly Member Dr. Richard Pan.

At the February Elk Grove enrollment event 40-plus residents were able to finally have access to affordable health care coverage. Among them was Emmanuel Kissi, his wife and children.

“I was surprised by how easy it was to enroll,” Kissi said. “They were very willing to help. They were willing to answer all questions. I just felt very comfortable working with them.”

Organizers are hoping that the enrollment deadline will encourage more families to attend this enrollment event. There will be Punjabi speakers available and it is expected Spanish language assistance will also be on hand.  

The event will be held this Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. at the Elk Grove Education Associations office's located at 9297 Office Park Cir # 100, Elk Grove.
