A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of an Elk Grove woman yesterday morning.

According to Elk Grove Police, 51-year old Ruth Holmes was stopped on the 8100 block of Calvine Road for a vehicle code violation. After being stopped, Holmes reportedly exited her car and ran from the officer.

Holmes was located a short distance away hiding behind a trailer after refusing to follow instructions. She was arrested and taken to the county jail where she remains in custody ineligible for bail on charges including resisting arrest, and previously issued arrest warrants for perjury and fraudulent receipt of public assistance in excess of $400.

No wonder California is bankrupt!

Elk Grove is getting invaded by ghetto welfare types due to all the low income apartments.
