Earlier today the city of Seattle announced that their new police chief would be Kathleen O'Toole.

O'Toole was one of four finalists considered for that city's top police job from a field that included Elk Grove Police Chief Robert Lehner. O'Toole, whose experience includes being the Police Commissioner in Boston and Chief Inspector for the Irish National Police, will be Seattle's first female chief once she is confirmed by the city council.

AWKWARD....how does this chief now face his squad and instill in them a sense of pride for their city when he was ready to abandon them???

Great question and one he will most likely have to answer to more than his squad. If I wrote his paycheck that would be #1 on the list...
