An Oregon woman got an extended stay in Sacramento County after she refused to leave her Elk Grove hotel room yesterday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, 27-year old Kalia Ruthstrom of Medford, Ore. was booked into a room at the Hampton Inn on Longport Drive and refused to leave after check-out time. Responding police officers contacted Ruthstrom and two other people in the room.

A consent search of the suspect led to the discovery of a controlled substances. Ruthstrom was arrested and booked into the county jail where she remains in custody ineligible for bail.
