Elk Grove Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint, Suspect Gets Away

An Elk Grove convenience store was robbed at gunpoint late last night.

According to Elk Grove Police, an unknown male entered the Kwik Korner Market at the Winco shopping center on Sheldon Road and confronted an employee with a handgun. The employee complied with the suspect's demands and turned over cash and merchandise.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction and the employee was not injured. The robber was described as being 5'5" tall, a thin built, wearing a black mask and black clothing.
