Elk Grove to Hold Meeting on Proposed Veterans Hall

A part of Elk Grove's long-awaited civic center is the inclusion of a Veterans Hall.

To gather input on the proposed project, a community meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 5. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers, located at 8400 Laguna Palms Way in Elk Grove. Local veterans organizations will join City officials in the exploratory meeting. 

                                             

The Veterans Hall's proposed location is on the south side of Elk Grove Boulevard and east of Big Horn Boulevard, and could break ground as early as 2015.  The facility is included in the city’s fiscal year 2014-15 budget and capital improvements plan.
