Here They Come - Chaires First to Mailbox in Elk Grove District 4 Race

With exactly Four weeks until the November election, Elk Grove City Council District 4 candidates mailers have started arriving.

Drawing first blood in the battle of the mail box is Elk Grove Planning Commissioner Nancy Chaires. The glossy mailer introduces voters to Chaires and shares basic profile information.

Although there are four candidates vying for the seat currently occupied by Bob Trigg, the battle of the mailbox most likely will be likely be waged between Chaires and Elk Grove Unified School District Trustee, Steve Ly. The other two candidates, Daniel Jimenez and Nayyar Sarfaraz, have not actively conducted fundraising.
