An Elk Grove gas station was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown suspect on Sunday morning.

According to Elk Grove Police, the suspect entered the Shell gas station on Elk Grove Boulevard at the entrance to the Elk Grove Auto Mall, confronted an employee with a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied with the suspect's demands and gave him cash. 

The suspect fled eastbound on Elk Grove Boulevard in late model gray sedan. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 20's, approximately 125 lbs., wearing a knit cap and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

A small punk that could have been squashed like a fly. He needed a gun to pull off the robbery.

Sad that he didn't roll his car after escaping.
