Sikh Community Leader's to Speak at Elk Grove-South County Democratic Club Monthly Meeting

A noted member of the local Sikh community will be the guest speaker at the March meeting of the Elk Grove - South County Democratic Club.

Scheduled to make a presentation to the group is Winty Singh, who is a volunteer for the Sikh Coalition. Formerly a senior planning analyst for Sutter Health, Singh will discuss the area's Sikh population and with an emphasis on their culture and religion.

In addition to Mr. Singh, two other prominent members of the Sikh community, attorney Amar Shergill and educator Dr. Bindi Gewal, will join in on the discussion. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, March 10 at the Elk Grove Public Library.
