EGN to 'LiveStream' Broadcast Tomorrow's e-Tran Workshop

The City of Elk Grove will hold its second public workshop tomorrow night to discuss possible changes to the city's e-Tran bus services. If adopted, the changes would effect several express peak hour routes running between Elk Grove and  Downtown Sacramento. (Details on the proposed changes can be viewed here.)

Thursday night's workshop starts at 6 p.m. and will be held in the City Council chamber at the Elk Grove City Hall. As a service, Elk Grove News will provide a live streaming broadcast of the proceedings via LiveStream.

To view the live broadcast, viewers will need to register at LiveStream. Below are instructions.
  • Visit the LiveStream site or download the free app from the Google or Apple store's
  • Register as a user for free using either an email address or Facebook
  • Livestream will ask you a few basic questions
  • Once you have completed the registration, use the search field at the top of the page and do a search of "Elk Grove News"
  • The search will show "events" and "accounts." Select the event, which is scheduled as Elk Grove e-Tran Public Workshop or accounts
The broadcast will start around 6 p.m. For those who wish to watch the event at a later time, it will be posted on this site.
