The City of Elk Grove will implement a detour as part of the Grant Line Road widening project this weekend. Eastbound and westbound traffic will be diverted from Grant Line Road to New Waterman Road and Old Waterman Road beginning Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. through 5 a.m. on Monday, March 23.
One lane of eastbound traffic will be shifted onto the new Grant Line Road over the railroad tracks on Monday morning. One lane of westbound traffic will be shifted later this summer. All four lanes will be open to traffic by November, 2015.
