Woman Threatened, Robbed at Knifepoint in Elk Grove

A 52-year old woman was robbed at knifepoint yesterday afternoon in Elk Grove.

According to Elk Grove Police, the victim was sitting in her car on the 9900 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road when she was approached by an unknown person. Upon contact, the suspect brandished a knife and demanded her personal property.

As the victim was complying with the demands, the suspect grabbed her purse and fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was not hurt during the robbery.

The suspect was described as a Black male adult, in his 20s, 6'0", 180 lbs., with braided hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
