Retail Employee Threatened With Knife During Elk Grove Shoplifting Incident

A retail employee was threatened with bodily injury in an Elk Grove shoplifting incident yesterday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, an unknown person was observed shoplifting by an employee at the Walgreens drugstore on the 8400 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road. When confronted, the shoplifter threatened to stab the employee.

The suspect fled the store on foot and was last seen riding away on a black mountain bike. He was described as a White male adult, 5'8", 130 lbs., with brown hair and was wearing a red shirt and dark colored shorts.
