Elk Grove Police Score Twofer With Arrest of Suspect

Elk Grove Police scored a twofer yesterday afternoon with the arrest of one suspect.

According to police reports, 37-year old Charles S. Cendana of Elk Grove was observed getting into a reported stolen vehicle on the 8700 block of Elk Grove Boulevard. After being detained, officers also discovered stolen property in the bed of the truck and was further identified as being responsible for making a fraudulent transaction at a nearby retailer. 

Cendana was arrested and booked into the county jail where he is being held on two misdemeanor and one felony charge with a bail of $40,000. His arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
