Counter-Jumping Suspects Steal Narcotics From Elk Grove Drugstore

Two unknown suspects robbed an Elk Grove drugstore of pharmaceutical grade narcotics early last night.

According to Elk Grove Police, two suspects entered the Walgreens on the 9100 block of Franklin Boulevard and went to the pharmacy in the rear of the store. The two suspects jumped the pharmacy counter, confronted an employee and demanded that the employee show them where the pharmaceutical grade narcotics were located. 

The employee feared for her safety and complied with the suspect's demands. The suspects grabbed an undisclosed amount of narcotics then fled the location on foot. The employee did not see any weapons and was not injured. 

The first suspect was described as a Black male adult, 5’8”, skinny build, wearing a black hooded sweater with a white design on the front and the other suspect was also a Black male adult, 5’6”, 200 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweater and black pants.  

No surveillance video or photos were immediately available.

Too bad they didn't trip while going over the counter and knock out their front teeth.
