Elk Grove Police Arrest Sleeping Suspect With Stolen Credit Cards, Stun Gun

January 8, 2016 |

A Folsom man who was arrested after being woken up in his car by police officers will be spending his sleep time in the county jail for the foreseeable future.

On early Thursday morning Elk Grove Police officers contacted 30-year old George Lahargoue who was sleeping in a vehicle parked on the 9100 block of West Stockton Boulevard. A records check revealed Lahargoue was on probation and had outstanding arrests warrants.

A probation search of the car led to the discovery of multiple credit cards that did not belong to Lahargoue, a driver's license with the photo removed and a stun gun. The suspect was arrested and is being held at the county jail ineligible for bail facing two felony, two misdemeanor charges and warrants from Woodland and Napa County.
