Elk Grove Police Seek to Identify, Apprehend Restaurant Burglary Suspect

Elk Grove Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspected burglar caught on a video surveillance camera (see images below).

The suspect is said to be responsible for four burglaries of the Kobe Steak and Sushi restaurant on East Stockton Boulevard between April 12 and 23. Detectives believe the suspect may also be responsible for other burglaries throughout the region.  

The suspect is described as an Asian male, approximately 40 to 50 years old, 5’6”, 150-160 pounds. An associated vehicle has been described as a gold or silver four-door vehicle.

Anyone with information regarding these burglaries is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
