Jogger Attacked by Unknown Bat-wielding Assailant at Elk Grove Regional Park

An early morning jogger was able to avoid significant injury after being attacked yesterday morning by a bat-wielding assailant.

The male victim was jogging at the Elk Grove Regional Park yesterday morning when he was approached by an unknown suspect. The suspect struck the victim on the hand with a baseball bat then ran away in an unknown direction. 

The victim sustained a minor injury to the hand that did not require medical treatment. The suspect was described as a Black male juvenile, 6`2", 280 lbs., unkempt afro style hair, unkempt beard, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans with a blue back pack.
