Armed Gunman, Accomplice Pistol Whips, Robs Victims in Elk Grove

Two victims were robbed and assaulted early Friday night in Elk Grove.

At 6:20 p.m. on Friday, October 14 the two victims were exiting their car on the 8500 block of Blue Maiden Way on Elk Grove's north side when they were approached by two unknown suspects. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and struck one of the victims in the face with the handle.

When the victim fell to the ground, the suspect stole their personal property. The second suspect then knocked the other victim down and stole their property.

The suspects fled on foot and both victims suffered visible injuries. The first suspect was described as a black male adult, 5’7”, skinny build, 20-30 years of age, wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweat pants and the other described as a black male adult, 5’11”, skinny build, 20-30 years of age and was wearing a black shirt.
