Elk Grove Man Cited For Throwing Beer Can at Cop Car

An Elk Grove man was cited last night after he allegedly threw a beer can at an Elk Grove Police car.

On Monday, October 17, Elk Grove Police were dispatched to the 9400 block of Castleview Drive regarding a suspicious person. When officers arrived, 45-year old Patrick Rakus threw a beer can at an EGPD vehicle as it drove by. 

Officers contacted and detained 45-year old Patrick Rakus. The suspect was arrested, processed at the police department, issued a misdemeanor citation and released.
