Probationer Tussles With Elk Grove Police, Arrested For Allegedly Violating Restraining Order

An Elk Grove probationer is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after he allegedly violated a restraining order and resisted arrest.

On Friday, October 28 Elk Grove Police responded to a call on the 8900 block of Plaza Park Drive regarding a violation of a restraining order. Responding officers located 46-year old Elliot Danfield a short distance away.

When contacted, Danfield reportedly physically resisted the officers and was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Danfield was arrested and is being held on one felony and three misdemeanor charges and is scheduled for arraignment tomorrow afternoon.
