March 6, 2017 |

Benicia, Calif. - A traffic stop by Benicia Police led to the apprehension of a suspect with outstanding arrest warrants and an assortment of burglary tools.

A vehicle being driven on the 500 block of East N Street by Amanda Vasquez, 33, of Vallejo, was stopped for an expired registration. A record check revealed the Vazquez was on probation from Los Angeles County for possession of stolen property and that she had three misdemeanor warrants out of Kern County.

A search of the vehicle revealed possession of brass knuckles, a "slim Jim" burglary device, suspected meth and heroin, and drug paraphernalia. Vasquez was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail.
