Elk Grove Police Investigating Shooting Incident That Wounds Teen

An early morning shooting incident that wounded a teenager is under investigation by Elk Grove Police.

Just after midnight on Sunday, April 9, police officers responded to the 8200 block of Burloak Way after receiving calls regarding gunfire. When officers arrived, they contacted several individuals in the immediate area. 

While officers were conducting their investigation, a 16-year-old male arrived at an area hospital by private vehicle suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. 

At this time there is no additional information is available regarding the investigation.
